Complement your kitchen style with this easy addition!

It’s no secret that guests and family alike love to congregate in the kitchen, so it’s great to have plenty of seating options available.  That’s where barstools can come in handy!  Barstools not only help you accommodate more people, they can also enhance your kitchen décor.

Today, barstools are available in such a broad variety of materials and styles, you can find a design to complement the look of almost any kitchen.  You’ll discover options that are simple, stately, rustic, traditional, elegant, and more.  When selecting barstools for your kitchen, consider your existing furniture.  Is there a theme you can build upon?  If you have an angular dining table, square-backed barstools could echo the design, while a sleek metallic barstool might be more at home in a modern kitchen.

Here in the Design Gallery I often get asked what height bar stools to choose for our breakfast bars.  The height you select will depend upon whether you’ve lowered you’re eating bar or left it at the standard floor plan height.   I found a handy guide on Pinterest that I thought might be helpful to you.
